About me
Growing up in Vermont, I spent a lot of time outdoors playing sports, hiking, and exploring. Art was something I became passionate about very early in my childhood, and I loved drawing, painting, sculpting, and creating. I have always felt a very strong connection to the natural world and to animals and they have been a constant source of inspiration for me throughout my life. When I graduated from high school, I moved to Savannah, Georgia to attend SCAD where I earned a BFA in Illustration.
I channel this love by painting landscapes and natural scenes as well as animals and pet portraits. I am also passionate about illustrating for kids, and have illustrated two children's books. As the owner of a local pet care business, I walk all around every day and it's impossible not to be inspired by the majestic live oaks and natural beauty of Savannah and the lovely Ardsley Park neighborhood where I reside with my husband Nick and our five rescue pets. In my spare time, I like to walk through our local nature preserves and Islands,and I am incredibly inspired by the peaceful marshlands and the giant driftwood that inhabit the beaches there.
